Private Cloud
- Predictable performance, free of noisy neighbors.
- Transparent and controlled costs.
- The best quality, features and cost ratio.
- Maximum security and privacy.
- Greater control over your cloud environment.
Private Cloud computing nodes
Our Private Cloud nodes are based on the latest Cascade Lake microarchitecture from Intel® and powered by the most efficient Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. Cascade Lake is the first michroarchitecture to introduce in-hardware mitigations for the notorious Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. Furthermore, our dedicated cloud environments offer a combination of security, performance, reliability and efficiency.

Easily designed Private Cloud environments
A Private Cloud is comparable to owning a data center in a company — with its own infrastructure and dedicated servers —, but where services can be sized on demand thanks to virtualization.
Designing a Private Cloud environment meant to be run at Stackscale is an easy task, as there are by far less variables to play with. Important design parameters are RAM and persistent storage size. IOPS, bandwidth and CPU requirements are less critical, since these are prevented from becoming a bottleneck in most scenarios.
Our pre-sales team provides, for free, an architecture design based on performance, capacity and fault-tolerance requirements in order to meet every project’s goals.

Predictable performance
At Stackscale, Private Cloud environments are composed of several computing nodes of exclusive use; all of them connected through bottleneck-free 40 Gbps links — 20 Gbps for storage, 20 Gbps for private interconnection and Internet access.
When combined with our completely redundant, low-latency network storage, we can achieve guaranteed constant high performance, free of “noisy neighbors”.
Extreme redundancy
Every element within our infrastructure is redundant to provide a fault-tolerant service. From the most common elements — power feeds, cooling, routers and aggregation switches —, to the most difficult ones —the access switches to all computing nodes, the storage and the nodes themselves.
Besides, in combination with our centralized network storage, nodes can be configured so that the VMs can automatically start in another node in case of a failure.
Geo-replication
For even further redundancy, different replication levels and geographically dispersed replication within Stackscale’s network can also be ordered to build Disaster Recovery plans that assume the worst contingencies.
Moreover, by using our Flash Premium, Hybrid Plus and Hybrid network storage volumes on your dedicated cloud environment, all your data will be geo-replicated by default in a remote data center, with no additional cost.
Maximum security
Virtualized environments designed to provide the maximum security. Private computing nodes and private and isolated networks and storage volumes are some of the measures in place to reach the security level of traditional dedicated platforms.
For further improving data protection, we go beyond the commonly used RAID and mirroring techniques. We also offer a VPN server to access the server management dashboard securely.
Transparency
We host mission-critical applications and we strongly believe our customers should know all the relevant details of the infrastructure; as opposed to delivering services in the Cloud that are just supposed to work.
Therefore, you will know which hardware your applications are running on, in which data centers your environments are physically located, what is the network equipment and topology, and any other relevant information.

Scalability
Add and remove resources whenever you need. Despite the fact that a Private Cloud environment cannot feature a complete Pay as you Go approach due to its complexity, our pricing structure maintains a pay per use model whenever possible and aims to be straightforward even in the most complex services.
Our infrastructure is homogeneous enough to offer the scalability, flexibility and pay per use pricing inherent to cloud solutions.
